Projection in which the old Lloyd Building reflects today’s surroundings.
The events that take place night after night reappear in details and abstractions of light and shadow. The building as a witness of light that transforms infinitely from one moment to another.
Traces of light in the water at the Prins Hendrikkade show up on the hotel’s facade. The light of a lantern on the canal travels from room to room and multiplies into a city of lights. Shadows of passers-by mingle with silhouettes of guests, who behind the windows, get ready for the night.
